Humongous, bananatastic art contest giveaway!!

 Hey Monkeys! Today MiniMonos released a BUNCH of updates. One of them being a new contest! This contest was put together by MMG's own Viper and Calypso. Read the post below for details:

Hey Monkeys! It's been a while since Viper has had a MiniMonos contest, so she and I (Calypso) got together and planned a HUMONGOUS, BANANATASTIC art contest!

Viper and I have been planning this contest with the help of the whole MiniMonos Staff for weeks!

It is HUMONGOUS so there will be HUMONGOUS PRIZES! Let me tell you what the prizes are, then Viper will tell you about the contest.

For the prizes, everyone has a chance to win one of these:

Prizes:

• 2 x 6-Month Memberships.

• 4 x 1-Month Memberships.

• 2 x 10,000 Banana Chips.

PLUS some of the winners art will be displayed IN-WORLD on MiniMonos in Mutt's Art Gallery!

And everyone who enters will see their art in the Fan Art Friday video, on the Go Bananas blog. Be sure to check that out after the contest!  Now Viper will tell you the rules and some more awesome things. Have fun and good luck!

Lol 'ello there monkeys! Everyone is really excited including the whole staff and Calypso. We have been anticipating this huge giveaway! :D

Now the theme is pretty much 'MiniMonos' itself. It's up to YOU to use your creative minds and think outside the box for your entries. :P

Theme: MiniMonos

So using software on your computer such as Paint or Photoshop (or it may be hand-drawn), draw or create an artwork expressing what you think MiniMonos is all about. If it is hand-drawn, you can scan or take a picture of your artwork and upload it.  Then just submit your entry by adding the link to the comments on this blog post.! :)

Here's an example of a picture I drew a while ago for the Earth Day 40th Anniversary:

Each monkey has a maximum of 2 entries.  It would be great to write your monkey name on your drawings and/or graphics too!

Competition end date:  August 17th [USA time]

This competition will be 3 weeks long, so you monkeys should have enough time to think of and create your entries! ^.^

Just a quick reminder, if you think you're not a good artist, it doesn't matter in this contest!  What matters is the thought and how hard you worked on it.  It isn't about the quality of your art but how you express your thoughts about MiniMonos. We want to see your best, no matter how good it is.

Wow!!!  This really is humongous!! Do you know, monkeys, that Viper and Calypso donated all of these prizes themselves!?  This means that they purchased all of these memberships and banana chips especially for this competition, for you! That's Bananatastically, humongously generous!!!!
