Bananatastic's Go Green Party!

Hey Monkeys, Mad Here.
This is a reminder that today is Bananatastic's Go Green Party! Are you willing to attend? Here's what was posted on the Party Master Blog:

We've gone bananas, crazy, snow, candy canes, ghosts, easter eggs, shamrocks, holly, pie time, and now... it's time to GO GREEN! On January 29th every monkey on MiniMonos island is encouraged to GO GREEN because I am throwing a HUGE go green party with the help of MonkeyRock and MiniJghRocks! Each party that we've thrown recently has been known to make MiniMonos history as the, "Biggest party on MiniMonos". With that being said, this is clearly one party that you DO NOT want to miss!

At the party I will be giving away Shells and Banana Chips. We will be playing games, turning into pies, going bananas, and most of all... GOING GREEN! Everyone who comes to the party is in for a surprise. You may be thinking, "What is the surprise?". Well that is something you'll have to be at the party to find out...

This sounds like it's gonna be a huge party! ^.^ Hope to see most of you monkeys there, have a great day!

New MiniMonos Monkey of the Week!

Hey Monkeys! ^.^
Mad here, and today we have a new Monkey of the Week!

It's time to announce the Monkey of the Week!! Congratulations to.....LokiTerry!! :D

LokiTerry always willing to help out monkeys in need and comes up with some awesome ideas for MiniMonos, especially on See You Sunday! :P You should also check out his awesome MiniMonos blog called MiniMonos Cheats! ^.^
He is always one of the very first monkeys to be on See You Sunday 30-45 minutes before it even goes live! And he is a Top Banana in-world on MiniMonos! :D
Also, as you can see, LokiTerry is one of the monkeys who have bought the special Tiger Suit to help save the tigers! ^.^ So make sure to congratulate LokiTerry when you see him around MiniMonos! :D

Congratulations LokiTerry! Remember, when you see LokiTerry in-world, be sure to give him a warm congrats! See you later Monkeys! ^.^

MiniMonos' Holiday Updates!!

MiniMonos' holiday updates are finally here monkeys with lots of wicked things! :D Once you log onto MiniMonos, you can see a recycled snow-machine blowing out snow-like substances all over Castle Beach! :P

You can also see Igor on the far left with a 'Free Tree' sign! You can get a free Christmas Tree from him to be place at your treehouse! ^.^

Also, the more buddies you get to say 'Happy Holidays' at your treehouse, the more ornaments appear in your tree, one ornament per buddy! :P

When you are at your treehouse, you can even create your own Holiday Cards and send them to buddies too!! :D

Once you are done creating your card, just press the 'Send It' button and send the Holiday Card to all your buddies! ^.^

Now if you are look at the board at Town Center, you can find a new sign of brand new Holiday specials, meaning the catalog, released out at the Traderz! :D

The Holiday catalog is really awesome with lots of winter-y and Christmas items! So lets go check them out again

Here are some fabulous Winter-y and Christmas shirts to wear and change the colors of the shirt whenever you want like the rest of the clothes! :P

Here are some more shirts along with Christmas hats and a reindeer headband too! :P

Now here are some Christmas trees you can use to decorate the interior of your treehouse monkeys that are really pretty too! ^.^

And here are some more items you can use to decorate the inside of your treehouse with the Christmas trees.

Now we definitely didn't forget about the outside for all the monkeys' treehouses. :P And what is Winter and/or Christmas without a Snowman along with that, there is a Holiday Arch and Reindeer with a red nose that is very similar to Rudolph too, hehehe! ^.^

Lastly, here are some pretty awesome wreaths to decorate on the outside of the treehouse too with the Snowman, Holiday Arch, and Reindeer.

I really love the whole creation and decoration of our Holiday Cards, that is probably my favorite update! :P I really like the free Christmas Tree from Igor and the 'Happy Holidays!' buddy-feature. Lol but then it is Christmas, what is there not to love! xD The catalog is really awesome itself! ^.^ Anywho, what do you monkeys think about these updates??

MiniMonos Monkey Fact Monday!

Ahh, yes its Monday again Monkeys! The longest day of the week -- to me anyways. Hehe! Thanks to an awesome mogger named Sonic4572 we know a lot more about Spectacled Langurs!! Sweet! Check out what Sonic4572 wrote about Spectacled Langurs:

"Hey, monkeys! This week I wanted to tell you about Spectacled Langurs!

The Spectacled Langur is a very interesting monkey! It's also known as the Dusky Leaf Monkey! I think you monkeys will love learning about it! The Spectacled Langur has has a fur that is a black type of color, it also becomes lighter gray! That sure looks like a nice color! :-) It's skin (on the face) is darkish grey, it's chin and lips are pink, and the eyes have a white color around that looks like a ring! Maybe that's why it's a SPECTACLED langur!

It lives in a lot of habitats! It's main ones are coastal and riverine forests! Cool!! They are very active around the early morning, then rest for a little while and become active again in the late afternoon! It will travel in groups of 10 monkeys and they look for leaves to eat! They mostly live in sounthern Burma and Thailand to Peninsular Malaysia! 

Wow,they sure are interesting! I hope you monkeys enjoed learning about the Spectacled Langur! :-)

Hmm... I wonder what day it is... OH! It's Friday! Yay! Manx from MiniMonos staff made this weeks Fan Art Friday video! MiniMonos WWF Tiger Quests!

Hey again MiniMonos monkey!! So as you guys probably know or at least heard about by now of MiniMonos partnership with WWF and the tiger suite we can buy at Traderz to help save the Tigers. If you haven't or want to read again, for more information click HERE! ^.^

Now for the rest, there is an actual Tiger Quests on MiniMonos for monkeys with the tiger suit OR be near someone who is wearing a tiger suit!! :D

Now pretty much, what you need to do for the quests is find FIVE [5] hidden tigers on MiniMonos! And to find them, there is a special word to seek them out, which is 'Roar'! :P

Also, don't forget that you MUST be standing very near the location for the tigers to be revealed. And every time you find a tiger, you need to click on the camera that appears in the player toolbar for a snapshot of the tiger!

But first I want to give a special thanks to Cade77 and Monkeyrock for helping me find the hidden Tigers! ^.^ Now, let's go check out where are all 5 tigers are hidden around MiniMonos island!!

The first tiger is found at the Lagoon, near the tree.

The second tiger is found near the cart filled with fruits in the Butterfly Meadow field.

The third tiger is found on the far, bottom right corner at the Cliff.

The fourth tiger is found near the top edge of the bush at the El Rio River near the spot Monkeyrock is standing out but a little higher in the picture.

The fifth and final tiger is found in the River Cave need the stalagmite and stalactite connected together that is a lighter color than the rest in the cave.

Now you finally got all 5 hidden tigers around MiniMonos!

So run along home to your treehouse and check out the Tiger Tree Bush you received as an award! ^.^

Another thing for you monkeys to remember is to make sure your volume is ON whenever you or another monkey say Roar on MiniMonos in the rooms with a hidden tiger! I'm not going to tell you guys what happens but it is really kool and awesome! :P Remember monkeys, help save the tigers!! ^.^

Hey MiniMonos monkeys!! So have you guys heard about the huge releasement about MiniMonos new partnership with WWF!! A little background information about our brand new partner to MiniMonos is that WWF originally meant 'World Wildlife Fund' but in 1986, WWF had come to realize that its name no longer reflected the scope of its activities, and changed its name to "World Wide Fund For Nature". However, United States and Canada still retain the original name 'World Wildlife Fund'! Also, as you can see, WWF logo is simply of a panda and that is because the beginning of WWF started out with helping a panda name 'Chi-Chi'. Here is a tiny paragraph from WWF site about this:

"Chi-Chi the panda had arrived at London Zoo. Aware of the need for a strong, recognizable symbol that would overcome all language barriers, the group agreed that the big, furry animal with her appealing, black-patched eyes, would make an excellent logo. The black and white panda has since come to stand as a symbol for the conservation movement as a whole."

Hey monkeys!! Recently, Bananatastic have announced and talked about exclusive Blogger Badge for every moggers' site on MiniMonos Go Bananas' official blogroll. We even had a preview of the badge last See You Sunday of Calypso's blogger badge for her own blog! :D

And now, the badgers are out and sent to all the moggers of each site on the blogroll! And here is the blogger badge for MiniMonos Guide! ^.^

Hey Monkeys!! I hope you are all having fun in MiniMonos world. Lately Bananatastic and Missdawg put together is AWESOME promo video for MiniMonos. This video talks all about the monkeys in MiniMonos world, and about the world. It talks about how awesome you monkeys are and how you all are helping out on MiniMonos island, and in the real world. Watch it, even I learned new things about MiniMonos from watching this video.

MiniMonos Updates!

Hey Monkeys, Calypso here! :) Sorry for these posts being so late! Viper and I have been trying to post but for the last week or so we've been SO busy! You have no idea. But in other news, MiniMonos has updated tons of things on the island. Lets start off with the Monkey Flight updates! ^.^ Monkey Flight has some new gadgets in the game, check this out!

The green circle in the top left corner is a indicator that shows you where other monkeys are in the game! :) Cool right? :D Happy Flying Monkeys!

New MiniMonos Shortcuts.

MiniMonos added shortcuts on your chat bar AND on the map!! :D Now instead of having to try and click on your monkey, your notebook is right next to your treehouse button! :) Check it:

Also, instead of having to walk into another room that isn't on the map, MiniMonos made it so much easier by adding the rooms onto the map! :D MiniMonos has so many awesome ideas! ^.^ Mostly with the help of the amazing monkeys you guys are! :)

Super! MiniMonos has changed so much since the beginning! :-) I love watching it grow.

MiniMonos Introduces Shells & New Items.

MiniMonos has added a few new costumes, a Ninja Costume, and a Butterfly Costume! But you can't buy these with Banana Chips, you have to buy them with Shells! Shells are different than Banana Chips because you can't really earn them. You have to buy them with actual money! :) Don't worry, I'm sure someone *cough* will have a shells giveaway soon...

MiniMonos Flight Itunes App!

Hey MiniMonos monkeys! For awhile already, we have been talking about a MiniMonos creating an iTunes application and now it is officially RELEASED monkeys!! :D Here are some pictures thanks to 50000Guy aka Gummy of the game:

Einstein Who?

Remember when you walked into town square and there was "Keep Out" sign? I was always so curious to know what was going on behind that keep out sign, and tonight when MiniMonos updated, Einstein's area opened!

 Who is Einstein? You may not have seen or heard from him, but he is the geek behind a lot of MiniMonos... Have you noticed when you are changing your color at Color Me behind the machine is a drape and it has Einstein all over it. :O. Einstein has been here since Alpha you may not have known! He is a mystery Monkey finally coming out of the shadows. His laboratory has opened and gold members are able to go inside and get sneak peeks of what is soon to come. 



Check out Einstein's lab!! Its amazing! 

This stuff is awesome! I wonder what it all will someday become! We will have to wait and see!

New Journals!

Every monkey now has a Journal when you click your player card!! These new journals hold all your Monkeys information like everything that is going on around MiniMonos, all the new updates, your buddies, who is online, and tons more! Check out Calypso's Journal!

Servers! 

Yep! Servers have arrived on MiniMonos! Only two at the moment, but this is a HUGE step for MiniMonos! We have reached the amount of Monkeys they needed for servers, because there are so many of us, they had to make servers! xD Look at how cool they are! Its like we are in space! ^.^

The new servers are "Star Tiger" and "Avenger" You can tell if there are a lot of monkeys in one server if there are a lot of planets around the sun! In the picture above, Avenger is the more populated server, cool huh?

MiniMonos New Catalog Updates!

MiniMonos has done an amazing job with all the new updates! There are soo many! Calypso and Viper here! Good thing the billboard reminded us about the new Catalog. Now go on over to Traderz and check out these amazing new items or non members, and Gold Members!

Check out the cover of the new issue! :D Looks like its a summer catalog! Woohoo! ^.^

The first page includes some awesome new items for all the monkeys treehouses! Some water slides, and fountains! Awesome!!

Next page is also for all members, get ready to camp out with your Tiki hut! xD!! Maybe we should have a camp out!

And for the 3rd page, more items for all members! Woohoo! Mail boxes? :O Sweet!

Awesome new shirts for Gold Members for playing in the sun on the 4th page of the new Catalog on MiniMonos! You can even color them your own color! :P

New swim shorts for Gold Members! :D the Hawaiian ones are pretty snazzy! ^.^

Finally some new furniture for the inside of Gold Members Treehouses! Keep cool with the new fans! :D

Also, on the back of the issue, you can check out the 3 issues released before this! And you better hurry if you haven't, to get all the items you like on MiniMonos Very First Issue because they will be gone the next time there is a new catalog! :O
