MiniMonos in Beta-Mode Soon!!

Woohooo!! We are going to go into Beta phase soon on MiniMonos this Thursday, April 1st with lots of exciting things released and occurred!! ^^ All monkeys from Alpha would receive a gift or too, no one would be left empty-handed by the time each monkey goes to bed! :D Here is the full post by Andrea talking about everything we should expect on April 1st, so make sure to read everything monkeys! ^^

We're so excited about MiniMonos moving from alpha to beta on April 1st (US time)!

There will be gifts for everymonkey!

If you are a Top Banana Gold before April 1st, you will get an extra special rare item!
PLUS you will have the Go Bananas power at your treehouse!  So if you're thinking about getting a Gold membership this week, make sure it's before Thursday to be able to rain bananas when people come to visit you.

And here's another surprise for all Gold members -- On April 1st you will have open chat!  Woohoo!

A lot of you voted on what secret gift the First-50 Top Banana Gold monkeys will get.  We're still keeping that one secret until Friday!  Hehe!

For Top Bananas and Mini Mods, your Top Banana and Mini Mod status won't expire!  Yippee!

Every single monkey who has joined MiniMonos before beta will also get a
special treehouse item! So if you have any friends who haven't checked
out MiniMonos yet, this week is a great time to do it.  That item will one day be rare!

And if that's not enough -- when we launch into beta you will also be able to do some very cool Easter activities!

From the MiniMonos team we want to say a huge thank you again. You have all supported and helped us so much and we can't wait to enter our next exciting development stage together!

This makes us monkeys right at the edge of our chair, couch, bed, and whatever you are sitting on most of the time, in anticipation!! xP Lol as one of the Top Gold Monkeys and one of the first 50, I'm excited for the Open Chat, Go Bananas Power in my Treehouse, the mystery item, and the mysterious Easter activities!! ^.^ Now Thursday will fill like years for me or time would fly by like usual. :P Im definitely jumping up and down at my seat, what about you monkeys ehhh?? :D

The Expressing Monkey!!

What counts is the quality not quantity monkeys, remember that! :)

Wow, wow, wow! xD It took me quite awhile to finally decide the winner of this contest but with the help of some buddies like Limey, Porsche, and BetaOmer. I was finally able to chose the winning monkey! Like the Going Green contest I first had, the prize is a 6-month membership and the winner will be the 50TH TOP GOLD MONKEY!! :D Lol but this time, even though least entries, we had a harder time deciding on a winner as you can see. :P So we not only judge from the entries but we also judged each monkey on their dedication and how genuine he/she is with MiniMonos. :) So now lets go crazy monkeys and start jumping for the winner!! ^.^

Congratulation to PurpleTanya!!

"MiniMonos is a game about going green. Going green is all about saving trees, saving LOTS of carbon and just recycling, reducing and reusing usually. The more carbon we save, the less chance climate change will happen. When you go green, the whole WORLD changes, not just yourself. Every 60 seconds, 1 square meter of trees get cut down, thats just really sad, especially if you love the environment, and the animals that live in the forests. MiniMonos is run by renewable energy,  which means they use electricity from solar panels and wind turbines, not from coal.

GO GREEN AND PLAY MINIMONOS!!"

The reasons for PurpleTanya was not fully based with her entry. Since honestly, her entry was quite normal comparing to the other entries. However, from all the monkeys, I know PurpleTanya really is not just after words but show plenty of actions about MiniMonos and Going Green with a best friend of hers in real life, Emini. :) I also know that I would not be wasting my money on a monkey, who is just after a title and 'rarity'! She really is genuine with herself and I along with a few of my best buds, who ended up helping me judge, can see her joyfulness with MiniMonos and wanting to help preserve the World. :) So congratz PurpleTanya, and we hope, even though I know, you will enjoy the six-membership all the way!! ^.^

P.S. I might, not sure yet, but create a whole new page and put all these thoughts from you monkeys on it. :P

In your own words, describe your thoughts about MiniMonos & Going Green. It doesn't always have to be long. Sometimes simple and short is the best way to go! Being meaningful is always seek and the grabber. :) Quotes, poem, mini-song, slogan, or anything else are all accepted just remember to be catchy and creative! ^^ Also, I will be publishing all entries but remember to stick to your own idea and be original monkeys! :D

That is pretty much you need to do monkeys! Lol now you monkeys probably guess what the prize already will be for the winning monkey, which is a Six-Month Membership to be a Top Gold Banana Monkey AND one of the first 50 Top Gold Monkeys!! :D Please submit all entries by commenting below and ALWAYS remember to have your monkey name in the comment. MiniMonos' First 50 Honor Roll Monkeys!

Kaila just recently posted about an awesome addition place on GoBanana's sidebar in Honor for the First 50 monkeys to become a Top Gold Banana monkey!! ^.^ MiniMonos are really close to reaching 50 and can't wait for it! :D Now check out the original post by Kaila:

Hi Monkeys! I hope you're having a bananalicious day!

As you know, we've just this week introduced Top Banana Gold memberships! The monkeys who have become Gold have gotten some exciting special features -- like a gold icon next to their name and some special items for their treehouses.

And, because you play on MiniMonos, you know that MiniMonos monkeys love to have a great time, but we also love to help others and be kind to our planet! So for every six-month membership, you allow a child in India to get a week's worth of clean water, and when we reach 50 Gold monkeys, the MiniMonos community is adopting a baby orangutan for a whole year! We're pretty close, too -- only 19 monkeys to go!

That's going to be a lot of fun for all of us, because we'll be able to see pictures of the orangutan and get updates on how he or she is doing! But we also want to recognize those first 50 Gold monkeys, the ones who are making it happen.

So we're adding the MiniMonos First 50 honor roll to the blog sidebar, with the names of the first 50 monkeys to become Gold. If you're a Gold monkey and have a blog, we can also link your name to your blog. You'll also see a separate list of MiniMonos staff kids -- we thought it would be fairer for these to be listed separately from the First 50.

I can't guarantee that the First 50 honor roll will always be on the blog sidebar, because we change the site around so often! But I can guarantee that the MiniMonos First 50 honor roll will always exist on the site, because you were the very first ones to lead the way for all the other monkeys to come, and we think that's pretty special.

Of course, if you don't want your monkey name on the list, that's no problem -- just let me know and I'll make sure to take you off.

Thanks so much to everymonkey for making MiniMonos awesome and for being so much fun to hang out with! You make every day great for us.

Best bananas,
Kaila

So right now we are about 19 monkeys away from reaching the First 50 or maybe even less!! :D Can't wait for all 50 and then the adoption of a baby orangutan!! ^.^
